We stand behind everything we sell, make and repair. Every new piece from Graham Jewelers comes with free Lifetime Maintenance and our 5-Year Warranty, and our in-house design and repair studio is here to take care of it.

Lifetime Maintenance & the Graham 5-Year Warranty
This is our own coverage, included free with new jewelry from Graham Jewelers. No registration and no required inspections.
Lifetime Maintenance
For as long as you own the piece:
- Polishing and refinishing
- Rhodium plating
- Insurance appraisals and updates
- Soldering rings together
- Tightening loose diamonds
- Ultrasonic and steam cleaning with a setting check (we recommend at least twice a year)
5-Year Warranty
For 5 years from your purchase date, we replace:
- Diamonds under 1 carat
- Crowns
- Tips (prongs)
- Shanks
Diamonds of 1 carat or more are not covered by the 5-Year Warranty. We recommend insuring them, and we'll provide the insurance appraisal free.
Engagement rings & wedding bands
Your engagement ring or wedding band gets Lifetime Maintenance, the 5-Year Warranty, and the free Preferred Jewelers International Limited Lifetime Warranty, which we register for you at purchase.
Preferred Lifetime Warranty
- Lifetime maintenance and inspections at any Preferred Jeweler nationwide, with microscope inspection and professional cleaning.
- Diamond replacement: a lost round diamond (natural, lab-grown or moissanite) up to 0.20 carat total weight, when the ring and prongs show no damage. Fancy shapes, fancy colors and invisible settings are excluded.
- One free resizing after the original sizing, usually up or down 1 to 2 sizes. Eternity bands and invisible settings are excluded.
- Minor re-tipping of 1 to 2 prongs showing early wear.
To keep your Preferred warranty active, visit a Preferred Jeweler every 6 months for an inspection. You'll get email reminders 30 and 14 days before each due date. Work done outside the Preferred network can void the warranty, and it is not transferable. Rhodium plating, when needed, may be charged. Questions about your Preferred warranty: 888-998-8874.
Ring sizing
When we measure your finger, your sizing is guaranteed for 30 days from pickup. If the size isn't right, we'll resize it free. Sizes chosen by the customer against our recommendation, or taken from another ring, are not guaranteed.
More engagement ring benefits
Every engagement ring purchase includes over $1,000 in free services: 12 months interest-free financing, our Something Borrowed program, free insurance appraisals and updates, the diamond trade-up program, a free Qalo ring with your wedding band, a $100 gift card with women's wedding bands and $50 with men's, and long-term layaway. Ask us for details.
Custom design
If your custom piece isn't right, we'll remake it once, within 30 days of pickup, at no additional charge. This guarantee applies when the person who will wear the piece takes part in the design. After that, your piece has Lifetime Maintenance and the 5-Year Warranty, like everything we make.
- A $100 fully refundable design fee is due before design work begins.
- Custom pieces are made just for you, so they can be remade or exchanged but not refunded.
- Minor adjustments, such as ring sizing or texturing, are made at a modest fee or no charge.
- Surprise gifts: if the recipient didn't take part in the design, we'll remake the piece for them within 30 days at 50% of our regular labor charge.
Jewelry & watch repair
Jewelry repair
We guarantee our repair work for 1 year from pickup. Stones we set won't come loose or fall out, and the areas we repaired won't break.
- Stone-loss coverage requires a secure setting: enough healthy prongs for the stone's shape and size. We'll tell you at drop-off if a setting doesn't qualify.
- We guarantee only the work we perform, not areas we inspect but don't repair.
- If you choose to re-tip only some of the prongs we recommend, we can't guarantee against stone loss.
- Free cleanings and setting checks are available any time. If we find additional work is needed, we'll contact you before doing it.
- Please pick up repairs within 60 days of our call; we can't be responsible for items left longer.
Watch repair
We guarantee our work for 1 year. A watch must seal against water and dust for the guarantee to apply; if it can't, we'll tell you before the work begins. Watches sent to a manufacturer's service center carry a $45 shipping, handling and insurance fee, paid in advance (additional insurance for watches valued at $5,000 or more).
Estate jewelry
Every estate piece is inspected by our jewelers before it goes in the case. When you buy, your receipt will show one of three options:

Estate pieces are pre-owned and may show signs of age, such as patina or earlier repairs. Conditions we disclose at the time of sale are not covered.
Designer brands
Designer pieces carry their manufacturer's warranty, and we handle the claim for you. Bring the piece and your receipt to any Graham Jewelers location. The manufacturer decides what its warranty covers, and our 5-Year Warranty and Lifetime Maintenance apply as well.
- Gabriel & Co.: lifetime warranty on manufacturing defects and 1 year on wear and accidental damage. Register your piece with Gabriel within 30 days of purchase.
- MALO wedding bands: lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects, with free lifetime resizing and refinishing.
- Seiko: 3-year worldwide warranty on the watch movement, case and metal bracelet. Keep your stamped warranty card.
- Fana and other designers: ask us about your brand's warranty.
Returns, exchanges & diamond trade-up
30 days, no questions asked. Most purchases can be returned or exchanged within 30 days of purchase by the original buyer.
- Items must be unworn, in original condition and gift box, with certificates, warranty cards and booklets.
- Sale items, special orders, completed layaways, and modified or custom pieces are not refundable.
- Refunds go back to the original form of payment. Cash and check purchases are refunded by check; check purchases after 10 days.
- Gift recipients receive merchandise credit. Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash.
Diamond trade-up: trade in any single diamond bought from Graham Jewelers for credit toward a future single diamond of equal or greater value. The diamond must be in its original condition, with its reports or certificates. Mountings and labor are not included.
What our warranties don't cover
Our warranties are not insurance. They do not cover:
- Loss or theft of a piece
- Damage from accidents, impact, chemicals or misuse
- Chipped, cracked or broken diamonds and gemstones; no stone, including a diamond, is unbreakable
- Gold or rhodium plating wearing off, enameling, and glued items
- Settings that were already worn, thin or damaged when brought to us, unless we repaired them
- Single diamonds or colored gemstones over 1 carat
- Work done by another jeweler on a piece we warranty
We recommend insuring your fine jewelry through a jewelry rider on your homeowners or renters policy. Our free insurance appraisals make that easy.
How to use your warranty
- Bring the piece and your receipt to any Graham Jewelers location. Notice a loose stone or snag? Stop wearing it and come in right away.
- Our jewelers inspect it with you and explain what's covered.
- Covered work is done at no charge. For anything outside your warranty, we'll give you a quote before we begin.
These terms apply to purchases and repairs made on or after the effective date shown above and may be updated. Your receipt and any written terms provided at purchase govern your specific item.
